For those who aren’t familiar, the Strike-Out Domestic Violence Bowl-A-Thon is the DA’s Office annual fundraiser to help trauma exposed youth in Shasta County - while you bowl the night away with your friends, family and co-workers. All money raised at the event will be used to send Shasta County kids and teens who have been exposed to family violence & trauma to Camp Resilience hosted by the Family Dynamics Resource Center. Camp Resilience is an evidence based camping and mentoring program that encourages kids to learn, build confidence, and emotional resilience through fun outdoor activities with other children who have had similar life experiences. The primary ways we raise money during the bowl-a-thon are by collecting a $100 PER PERSON donation raised by each participating bowling team, raffling-off donated gift baskets, and obtaining sponsorships from local organizations and businesses. • Youth Essentials Partnership Foundation Annual Golf Tournament

    October 17, 2022  8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Riverview Country Club, 4200 Bechelli Ln, Redding, CA 96002, USA

The Youth Essentials Partnership Foundation hosts this annual golf tournament to raise money to fund foundation activities throughout the year.

About the Foundation: The Youth Essentials Partnership Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps children in our Northern California community whose basic needs aren’t met. As a result of hunger, improper clothing, and lack of funds to support extra-curricular activities, these children fall behind in their academic pursuit and social development. We formed this organization to ensure that the children in our schools are able to have necessities so that they can focus on simply being kids. With great existing programs that we are championing and a variety of additional programs to support these needs, we believe that we enhance the quality of life for our underprivileged youth; thereby, contributing to our entire community and state – making it a better place to live. Further, we believe that we alter the course of some children’s lives to the extent that they feel valued and equal to their peers which gives them an opportunity to be future healthy contributors to our local and state economies.

Youth Essentials Partnership (YEP) Foundation Programs: 100% of funds received go back to local kids in our community. All administrative costs are covered by YEPF Board members. All kids who benefit are referred directly by our local partners (schools, sports organizations, etc.) who have identified a high need.

    Weekend Food Bag Program
    Coats for Kids
    Socks and Shoes for Youth
Other School Referrals: clothing for high needs, fire victims, or other unique circumstances.
Sports Sponsorships: pay for players fees for those in need.
    Athletic Apparel/Equipment Sponsorships

About the Tournament: We are looking for varying levels of sponsorship (range - $500, cart - $200, and hole - $150 sponsors) including raffle prize donations. All funds received stay local and benefit school aged kids in our community. Businesses can also donate 100 – 150 small participant items for the players in this event. Forms are available at www.yepf.org or by email request. All forms can be submitted to donate@yepf.org and payment can be sent to P.O. Box 1322, Cottonwood, CA 96022.
